COUNTRY GREEN BEANS

 

1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed

¼ c. chopped onion

¼ c. chopped cooked ham

¼ c. butter or margarine

1 clove garlic, minced

½ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

¼ c. water

 

In a sauce pan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until beans are tender. Yield: 4 servings.
