As soon as the soil can be worked, plant seed 1-2" apart in rows 18 to 24" apart, 1/2" deep. Allow 1-2 weeks for germination. Thin plants to 3-4" apart(thinnings make good first greens). For a continuous supply, plant every two weeks up until 60 days before the first frost. Use later plantings for winter storage. One packet contains 300 seeds and sows a 25' row. One oz. contains 800-1,200 seeds and sows a 100' row.
