After separating the garlic bulb into individual cloves, plant the cloves 5" apart in well-prepared and well-drained soil in a sunny location. Plant the cloves so that the tips are 2" beneath the surface. Mulch lightly in areas where winter temperatures fall below 0°F. Garlic will be ready to harvest the end of the following summer.

We ship only 3 garlic varieties in the spring and all listed varieties in the fall. Hardneck varieties prefer fall planting. Orders which include both garlic and seeds will be shipped at separate times. Garlic will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area. Sorry, we cannot ship garlic to  AK, AZ, CA, HI, ID or WA.
