An old variety, excellent for northern gardeners and cool soil. Developed by Professor Elwyn Meader of the University of New Hampshire, the upright, 24" plants yield high quality pods, many with 3 seeds. The flavorful beans are high-protein snack and enjoyed as edamame or allowed to dry down (90 days) and used like dried beans.
***Due to crop failure of the Envy variety, we are subbing the Soybean Tohya, a 78 day variety that grows to 2 ft tall and produces pods with 2-3 sweet and buttery soybeans each.***
