If you think you don't like winter squash - try this one! It has turned many an unbeliever into a squash-eater. Incredibly sweet flavor and fine-grained orange flesh. Much like a sweet potato. Compact, oblong, 6-8" fruits have creamy-colored skin with dark green stripes. A good choice for the kitchen garden as the vines can easily be grown on a fence or trellis. Each vine typically produces 6-7 squash that store very well. Excellent for stuffing and baking, even right after harvest.
