Lima

Tasty, easy-to-grow and a family tradition. Whether you choose a large-seeded lima or a small-seeded type, your plants will produce an abundance of sweet, buttery limas... a mouth-watering dinner time vegetable. Must have warm soil. For cooler regions consider Broad Beans.

Bush Limas - 50-55 seeds plants about 20' of wide row or 100' of single row. Space rows 3' apart and pick often.

Pole Limas - Plant 5-6 seeds 1" deep in hills 3' apart each way, and set 6' high, rough poles into each hill. After plants are established, thin to 3 or 4 of the strongest plants in each hill.
