Midseason. This delicious and nutritious potato doesn't cause a big spike in blood sugar. Researchers found this potato ranks lower on the glycemic index than almost any other potato (other thatn sweet potatoes). The spuds have purple skin that is high in antioxidants and golden yellow flesh with a rich, buttery flavor. Good resistance to common scab and verticillium wilt.
