85 Day. Bush. Fava or Broad Bean. Cool weather bean, which can be planted as soon as the soil can be worked. Plants are true bush form and heavy yielders. Glossy green, 7" pods contain 5-7 large, oblong, light-green beans. Pick at 2-3" to eat like snap beans or use as a tasty shell bean. Very sweet flavor similar to a pea. Edible young leaves may be added to salads as a nutritional spring green. Does not grow well in hot weather.
