82-95 Day. Bush. An old time favorite for Northern gardeners. The compact plants stand only 15" but produce numerous pods of 5-7 brown seeds with a white eye. Dating back to the 1890's, this popular Scandinavian bean is ideal baked and in soups due to its incredible nutty flavor. Tradition, culture and amazing flavor in a bowl of baked beans.

I planted this variety last year (zone 6b), and purchased more to plant this year. They grew into strong plants, no disease issues and the yield was awesome. After drying them I used them for numerous batches of baked beans; they held their shape with a great taste.
Really recommend Swedish Brown beans and looking forward to planting them again!
