Cucumber, Armenian Yard Long
#V02104
50-75 Day. Melon. We weren't sure about this "cucumber" either until we grew it in our test garden. But tasting is believing, and we had to offer it in the catalog! Technically a melon, the prolific vines yield an abundance of light-green, ribbed, 12-18" fruits that have a thin, easily digestible skin and mildly sweet flavor. Eats like a cucumber but keeps better than one once cut and stored in the refrigerator.
