Day Neutral. This 'sweet as candy' red onion compares to Candy Hybrid for adaptability. Being an intermediate or day-neutral variety, it can be grown successfully across the country. Produces large, uniform, firm onions with deep red skins and beautiful red-ringed flesh inside. Flavor is so mild and sweet that you can eat it like an apple. One bunch is 50 to 75 plants.
